Great food , McKenzie is the best waitress ever , great personality, great atmosphere, definitely will be back

Place was awesome, such a surprise. Just passing through and found a gem of a joint. Best burgers fries and tenders I've found in a while. Had the best waitress there Allissa, great at everything. The cook really had his A game going on

This place is fun! Solid draft beer selection, cool decor, and great service build up to an awesome meal! The smash burger was delicious

I am a fan! We stumbled on this spot via Yelp because our lunch plans fell though. Parking is easy and it's a low key sports bar vibe. But let's talk food - hands down one of the best burgers I've ever had! Our server was super attentive. Can't wait to return!

Great selection of Burgers to choose from. Decent selection of draft beer which includes Wicked Weed, a favorite of mine. I got the DC Classic burger which I recommend.

Stopped here to check it out. Heard a lot about it. Clean, nice place over all. Service was very friendly and on point. Food- top shelf! Excellent burger and fries. We will be returning!

Yes, yes, yes. We started off with the buffalo chops (subbing shredded cheese) and they were not the type of chips I originally anticipated.. they were BETTER. So crispy, and excellent flavor. I got the Mac burger, and my husband got the Turkey burger (but with beef). Both burgers were so delicious! I will say, I didn't love the Mac and cheese as as side as much as I liked it as a topping. Excellent service, great atmosphere. We will be back!

Saturday night, no kids, and a craving for a good hamburger. We headed to 601 Burgers and Brew. We headed out about 6:15pm and even in Mocksville, waiting time can be an issue. When we got there, it didn't take long for us to notice 2 servers for approximately 20 tables. The bartender handled her area but it was painfully obvious they were short-staffed. It took about 10 minutes to get our name on the list. Surprising since there was about 6 tables empty. The 2 servers were obviously frazzled but they were working hard and doing the best they could. Thankfully, we hit a time when many tables were finishing up and leaving. Our server was friendly and efficient. She got our waters and took our order in a timely manner. I opted for the smash burger with pimento cheese and candied bacon and my wife got the jalapeño popper burger. Food came out fairly quickly considering what was Going on. The fries were hand-cut, warm but not hot. But the burgers were hot off the grill and I have to say they weee some of the best burgers we ever had. Top 10 for sure! The wait was annoying but it wasn't the staff's fault. Either not enough people were scheduled or somebody called off. Considering the crowd and with only 2 servers, those two young ladies did a great job. Our server was worth the 40% tip. The burgers were memorable, that's pretty high praise. I don't think you can find a better burger in Mocksville.

What we learned from our most recent visit was to not trust their Facebook page. We saw that they were supposed to have live music the other night per their Facebook, but when we arrived there was no band in sight for the entirety of our visit. It was drizzling so it could have been canceled, but I'm unaware of any outdoor area they could have set up. It was a relatively slow night it appeared, we were seated immediately when walked inside. Since we've been there a few times already we had already tried most of the appetizers. This time we went with an old favorite, the fried banana peppers, as well as tried something new: the giant Bavarian pretzel. The banana peppers have never disappointed. Not greasy, perfectly crispy and great flavor with a mild heat. The pretzel was a nice surprise! I wasn't expecting anything more than a normal pretzel, just giant. But this was no ordinary pretzel! It has a crispy outside shell and the inside was much softer than any pretzel I've ever had. Only thing I would have wished for was a little more salt on the outside. But this could be our go-to appetizer combo the next time we visit, baring a change of the menu. For our entrees, I ordered the bang bang crispy chicken sandwich. The chicken was much larger than the bun, which I loved. The chicken was crispy, the bacon was flavorful and the sauce had a good flavor and nice kick to it. My wife got the Buffalo chicken wrap. She said it was one of the better Buffalo chicken wraps she's ever had. Only critique there was there was too much sauce to the point it was dripping out everywhere with every bite. I tried a bite and completely agreed. For our sides we both order the sidewinder chips. They're kind of like twisty French fries. But here, this is the way to go. They're crispy and have an awesome flavor. Much better than their regular French fries which are unfortunately usually soggy and lacking flavor. Hate to say it, but the only times we've had a good dining experience here was when we didn't order a burger with traditional fries. Their other entrees on their menu, are the way to go! We'll be back, just not for burgers
